Liepaja University FDC “Banga” and MADC “Bandzenieki” participated in dance contest where jury not only evaluated collective level but also how collectives are prepared for Latvia folk dance ensemble festival that will take place in May in Cesis and Kuzeme dance festival in July in Liepaja.

FDC “Banga” participated in the higher collective quality group – A, and gained the higher level with 63,20 points, also MADC “Bandzenieki” gained the higher level with 55 pints, participated in group D.

Leader of  dance collectives Kristine Karkliņa told that before the dance contest worry were bigger, because dance was raffle on only in the morning of dace contest day, because although dances were prepared in time suspense, however, caused concern. About performance leader is pleased and says “Everyone is happy!”

FDC “Banga” in this season continue work with even bigger vigor, because they are preparing for dance contest in Rīga and Latvia dance ensemble festival in Cesis.
